My first puffle was great. I got an orange 20° down and it never disappoints. I look forward to using it as an underquilt later this winter.
Just purchased my second 20° Puffle and my 4th Puffle purchase (2 55° Puffles). Went wild camping two weeks ago and while it only went down to 36° I was so toasty warm in my hammock during the night. My two companions said they had gotten cold during the night with their gear. I can't wait to go out again. Thank you Sierra Madre for providing such excellent products that make spending time outdoors more enjoyable.
There isn’t much that can be added to this products review that hasn’t already been stated but it’s perfect - perfect size - perfect color - perfect for my hammock or the couch - and you stay perfectly warm!!
The lights were a great gift for family members. I of course had to buy one for myself. I will use it in my little camper and maybe use it around, above or in side my hammock?
We already have the regular pufflos and I tried the new camp size at this year's hangcon.this added a new level of luxury as I chilled in my Ninox (really cold for Florida!) SMR is the best!
Throughout the what seems like endless research put into building the perfect to me backpacking setup, I have repeatedly came back to Sierra Madre Research for my sleep system insulation needs. I absolutely love and swear by the Puffle as my any time, any situation go to form of insulation, and the Pufflo Pillow is a great addition, especially when being used in a hammock due to the convenience of a inflatable pillow for adjustability with the outstanding comfort of the pufflo cover. 10/10 would and do recommend!
Who doesn't just love the name! Like your favorite stuffed toy, I kinda feel like this is going to be my best FRIEND!! ❤️
Perfect for my emergency kit in my car, nice and light, very soft and warm!
Received my xplore hammock a few days ago. I wanted something smaller to carry with me in my backpack. Really like the feel and the size it's enough to be comfortable but I don't feel claustrophobic like with other hammocks I own.
Don't know why there isn't a review on this OR why people aren't talking about this expander. It is a great piece of kit for your Puffle. It can be used to expand your Puffle at any point you need a little more width when buttoning up the Puffle to use as a top quilt or sleeping bag. Shoulders, knees, hips, footbox, whatever you need. I use it for the area around my knees. Pull the cinch strings tight, snap the first one or two buttons, then snap in the expander to give me that little extra that allows me to have more room for movement of my arthritic knee AND have a very comfortable tight footbox. Allowing much more comfort than the standard width of other top quilts when in my hammock. It makes it so easy to add those couple of extra inches. I also will use it up in the shoulder area when I use my Puffle on the rare occasion for a sleeping bag and it's a little more chilly than I had anticipated. No shoulder squeeze. No draft leaks. Get one. Try it out. Especially IF you need just that little bit of room like I do.
A great and comfortable fold up pillow. Less than a few ounces so no additional hauling and big uncomfortable standard pillow.
It's a very neat and unique type of lighting. I have a VERY small cabin and it fits right about the door and lights the entire room. No more lanterns for me. Great Job Sierra Madre!
The perfect combination of weight and warmth. I have no idea how the engineering works on this but I DO know that the warmth and ability to completely block frigid wind-chill is unlike anything we've every experienced. We had a blue norther blow through this morning and the temps dropped from 42 to 16 in a couple of hours and a 25-28 mph wind made it feel like -10. But none of that stopped me from starting and ending my day on the back porch thanks to our new Puffle!
First off, they’re expensive. Having said that with expensive you expect quality. That doesn’t always happen but with these Puffy blankets I wasn’t disappointed. I bought two to have the option to join or one to lay under or use as as an under blanket or join together. Being able to draw the foot or head or both tight is just plain good thought out plan. Love the snaps. The puffy pillows with inserts are extremely comfortable especially being able to adjust the thickness. Don’t know if I’ll test out the 20° temp comfort rating or not but I am confident all would be good. As for the pillows, they will be with me every time I travel. Good products.
Received and tested the Heated Compression Sack. This will be perfect for my chilly, chilly wife who likes to hike and camp in the cool Midwest. I suspect this will be a regular travel companion!
Comfort in the wild every time you camp.
