So my son is autistic and gets fixated on situations almost like intrusive thoughts but on the form of dreams. We live in a 100 unit apartment building on the third floor, unfortunately we are situated beside the elevators and garbage chute. He has been extremely worried about apartment fires for some time now and getting trapped, or not being able to get the cats out safely.

Happily unused, but there in case.

Honestly, I cannot review the blanket since I haven't had the need; however, I place them near potential fire sources: kitchen, garage, fire pit area, with camping gear. My 92-year-old mom has one next to her stove and can pull and throw at a moment's notice. This is a brilliant design. Thanks.

I feel safer!

I really like the fire blanket. It is a good size. It comes with a mounting hook and can go inside a cupboard door near the stove area. It hangs upside down for quick access! I also put one inside my emergency go backpack, incase I need to run through fire. I really do feel safer having them.
