*Please note that user damaged gear due to misuse, accidents, abuse, or negligence is not covered under any of our protection policies, but we are glad to repair it at cost!*
30 Day Policy (100% Satisfaction)
We confidently offer a 30 day trial period on all Sierra Madre gear; once you receive your gear you have 30 days to try it out at home and return it if it doesn't work for you.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be within the 30 day return window and either unused or lightly used and in similar condition you received it in. All items must be returned for full product refund. We are unable to offer refunds beyond 30 days of receipt.
After 30 days we will only accept returns based on manufacturer errors, if you’re unsure, feel free to contact customer service and they’ll take care of you!
2 Year Manufacturer's Warranty
If in two years of owning your Sierra Madre gear you experience any manufacturing defects we will personally repair your product free of charge, or if the manufacturing defect cannot be repaired or compromises the integrity of the gear, we will ship you a new product for replacement.
If you feel your gear has a manufacturer’s defect, contact our customer service team through email to receive the mailing address and RAF form for your product to be shipped to us for assessment.
If you have purchased the Lifetime Protection Plan and your gear is damaged, we will repair the gearfree of charge if you have purchase the Lifetime Protection Plan, or in most cost effective way possible. Either way, we will do all we can to get you back in your gear!
Lifetime Protection Plan
With proper care, your Sierra Madre gear should last a lifetime of adventure! We are proud of the quality and durability that we build into every single piece of gear, and we’ve meticulously tested and retested the components of our gear to ensure it always gets you home safe.
Reality being what it is though, we know things happen, but rest assured, we stand behind our gear and when you are a part of the Sierra Madre family we’ll take care of you for life!
The Lifetime Protection Plan covers:
- Mechanical breakdowns
- Defects in materials and workmanship
- Failures due to heat, dust, humidity, or any weather damage
- Normal wear and tear
- Shipping cost
- Repeat Replace Policy - if your product requires more than 3 repairs for the same defect we'll replace it with a new piece of gear.
The Lifetime Protection Plan is only 10% of the MSRP value of each product we offer. You have the opportunity to purchase the plan at check out (this is something we are working on and you will need to contact us to get this added to your order), or can contact our customer service team within the first 30 days of your order to purchase the plan.
