Blankets used to just be some thing I found on my bed at home. If I went camping, I’d just pack a sleeping bag. That sleeping bag was used when I slept in the tent, and that was it.
Then in came the Puffle. I picked up two down Puffle 40s; one for me and one for my wife. We now haul them everywhere. They’re so small, light, and packable that they come with us on road trips, short hikes, longer camping trips, plane rides (pre-pandemic), and even when I go fishing and hunting for an extra layer. They work for me as a sleeping bag when it’s warm, or just to add some extra insulation any other time when I’m lounging or trying to sleep. I’ve put the puffle to the test in the woods and on the ice, and the water resistant fabric has held up through it all. I couldn’t be more impressed!
Sometimes I wanted something a bit warmer (I blame the northern Canadian weather), and now Sierra Madre launched a Puffle 20. I’m looking forward to getting one to swap in for my colder adventures.
