I wanted to get to know the jacket before reviewing. When trying on outside my house (it was cold out, 35F) I felt the air go through the jacket. At first I thought, hmm, maybe it's designed for requiring heat. Then I took on the trail, it doesn't take more than a quarter mile before you heat up and need that venting to cool off. My first time out, I tried heat on low and was baking. I turned off. As I've been going out in the 30s, I've been waiting for the opportunity to utilize the heat. The jacket is comfortable and I was able to move around easily. The pockets work for me (I like zipper closing). I didn't know it had the hidden gloves when I purchased but that's kinda cool. It took me a little bit to understand that there are two settings of heat, blue low, red high that display on the right side button. I think I found details on a YouTube by this company. Didn't take more than 15 min to figure out first time though. Again, I'm looking to put the heat to the test but it's going to need to get lower than 30F for me to test that. Enjoying this jacket 😊
