This is my go to hammock for day time relaxing or even some short overnight trips. Love my Pares hammock!

I am an avid hammock camper and have logged over 300 river miles in a canoe with more than 30 nights in the last two years. There has been a natural progression of gear along the way, sleep system included. I started like most with an ENO, then progressed to a larger Grand Trunk and then on to the Pares. The length and width make all the difference in the world. When paired with the talon suspension and an adjustable ridgeline this hammock is the optimal flat-lay setup in any conditions. The fabric is extremely light and breathable and the included double-ended stuff sack is a nice bonus as well. It holds both the hammock and the suspension. Was so impressed that I just ordered the nubé and am looking forward to trying it out on the next trip

Pleasantly surprised. I own 8 different hammocks this 1 was by far the most comfortable and I did not need a sleeping bag or blanket. I slept by a creek in the mtns temps got down to 30 but I'm sure by the water it was even colder hooked up that under hanging deal put the other on in the hammock n slept like a log at the bottom of a pond.

The Pares Hammock from Sierra Madre Research is a great all-purpose hammock! I got the Pares along with the Nube Shelter System, and some other accessories, on Kickstarter, and I'm more than satisfied with the purchase.

The Pares is very durable, and super comfortable. It's easy to setup, and takes down easily as well, going back into its compact pocket/stuff sack, that cinches down with the attached compression straps. I have the EZ Sling Suspension System, which is also great, and simple to use. When stored away, there's enough room in the Pares pocket for the EZ Slings as well, and I clip the carabiners for the EZ Slings to the outside of the Pares pocket.

When the hammock is in use, the pocket can hold some small items for easy access, and there are D-rings you can use to attach other items to the hammock too. The Nube Shelter System works very well with the Pares Hammock, and when put together, you'll get a super comfortable lounging and sleeping setup, while being well-protected from the elements and annoying insects!

I did a lot of research before going with the products from Sierra Madre Research. I think they make some of the best products on the market, and true to the name, they really have done their research!
