    Wouldn’t camp without it!

I recently bought the 0 degree under quilt to pair with my 20 degree puffelo blanket because I was headed to Deadwood, Oregon where the nights get down below freezing 🥶 It was the best decision, the underquilt was a tad confusing at first because I’m using a ENO hammock with it but it’s worked amazing thus far, the coldest I’ve slept out is probably 28 degrees and I’ve been mighty toasty 👌🏻 This is my first recommendation to anyone who likes camping in the cold!

Wow! Thank you for sending us you review. So glad that you love it.

    A+ Top Quilt

I'm new to hammock camping, and I quickly realized while camping in 10-degree weather that my sad attempt to fuse my tenting gear with my hammock and tarp just wasn't going to cut it. I tossed and turned in my synthetic mummy bag, trying to warm my frozen feet. Lacking an under quilt, I put a 4.3 r value pad between me and my hammock. Generally speaking, my feet get cold easily. At home, my preferred method for getting to sleep with cold feet is to place one bare foot against the opposite bare calf, and alternate when one warms the other. This is a tried and tested method, which works very well. It does not work, however, in a mummy bag. My feet felt like ice cubes that night, which kept me from sleeping, and I resolved to get a proper hammock warmth system.

So my fiancé got me an under quilt from another company (rated to -20 because I like camping in the winter), and when I saw the 0-degree Inferno on sale, I bought the top quilt. I could not be happier with my purchase.
First, the quilt is lighter by about 4 pounds than my synthetic 0 degree mummy bag. It stuffs down to a fraction of the size. It is also significantly warmer. To test it, I went for a nap in 15 degree weather on a windy day without my hammock, on the same 4.2 r value pad. Believe it or not, I ended up taking the hood and shoulders off. This thing is WARM.
I took it to a friends last week to spend the night on his couch, and it poured the next day. Having forgotten the storage bag, I was worried about getting it wet on the walk to my car. To my delight, the raindrops beaded off the nylon, and I shook it dry when I got it to the car.
Most importantly, my constantly cold feet problem with camping has officially been solved: the Inferno is cut specifically to allow the knees enough space to move, and I can do my "foot to calf" move and warm my feet while staying toasty warm in the top quilt. Fantastic invention. I'll post an update when I've actually taken it camping, though by then it will be warmer out.

That's great! We're happy that it works well. Thank you for sharing this with us, Max. We will wait for your next update. Have a great day!

Just got to try my inferno system and I love it!!! It keep me very warm! I'm a short girl so the top quilt is long for me, but it works wonderfully!
